The Principal, Kamlesh B. Oza, Esq. has nearly 25 years of legal experience as a litigator, transaction lawyer, mediator, and appellate lawyer. Two of his appellate cases involving commercial/construction law have been reported in legal publications and have been cited by other attorneys in their briefs.
He has over 40 years of education experience. His audience includes realtors, law students (course: Agency Law), physicians and students in Medical Technology (Management) and Health Information Systems (Health Law) programs at Florida International University. He is an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University. He is a former laboratory director and a hospital administrator managing hundreds of employees including physicians, nurses, radiology, and laboratory staff.
As to the real estate law, Prof. Oza has taught concepts like Duty to Disclose, Unlicensed Practice of Law and other topics that frequently plague the new real estate agents at Real Estate Association of the Palm Beaches, (“RAPB”), now Realtors of Broward, Palm Beaches, St. Lucie, a.k.a. “rworld”. One of his most popular programs is Cyberfraud in the Real Estate Industry.
He draws on his litigation and appellate experience to educate realtors and other members of the real estate industry on the new policies, procedures, forms, and best practices in view of the recent settlement of antitrust lawsuits filed against the National Association of Realtors (“NAR”). He brings to bear his extensive experience in litigating cases involving professional negligence and malpractice to train the real estate professionals in how to avoid negligence and other liability claims.
Prof. Oza is a real estate instructor licensed by the State of Florida.
